Campaign Readiness Assessment Beta

Successful fundraising is built on a strong foundation. Without overthinking it, mark where your organization stands on each element. The tool gives you an honest read and a short list of what to shore up first.

Mark where your organization stands on each of the fifteen elements — In good shape, Work in Progress, Needs Further Research, or Not yet. Your readiness report writes itself as you answer. When you are done, take it to an AI platform like ChatGPT or Claude to keep going, or send it to Anne Murphy to talk through your campaign.

Tell Us About Your Organization

This sets the header on your report. Both fields are optional. If you plan to think this through with an AI tool, keep these general and leave out names and confidential details.

Put Your Report to Work

Your responses appear as you mark each element. Complete all fifteen elements before using your report to guide campaign decisions.

1. Take it to an AI to keep going. Press Copy report, then open ChatGPT, Claude, or any AI assistant and paste it in. Ask it to help you prioritize the gaps, draft a plan, and think through your next move. Your report becomes the starting point for a working session.
2. Print it or save a PDF. Press Print for a copy to share with your board or leadership team, or to save it as a PDF.
Use these results in the Giving Opportunities Builder — optional. Select “Use in Giving Opportunities Builder” to open the Builder with your results included. Review or clear them there before creating your document.
3. Send your results to Anne and talk it through. Press Send my results to Anne to open the optional sharing form. Review the report and contact details before submitting it. You can book a conversation with Anne separately.
Before you paste into any AI tool, strip out the specifics. Remove your organization's name, donor and staff names, real dollar figures, and anything else that could identify your organization or your people. Public AI systems may store what you enter. Describe your situation in general terms — the read works just as well without the names.

Your Assessment Draft

Complete all fifteen elements to see your readiness score and recommendations. You can copy or print your draft at any point.

Questions About the Campaign Readiness Assessment

What does the Campaign Readiness Assessment examine?

The assessment asks about fifteen organizational conditions relevant to a fundraising campaign. Your responses organize areas of agreement and questions that need further attention.

How should we interpret our campaign readiness results?

Use the report as a discussion aid for leadership and planning. It groups your responses and identifies unanswered items. It cannot establish a feasible fundraising goal or predict campaign success.

How can we use or share the readiness report?

You can copy or print the report. You may choose to send it to Anne or transfer it into the Giving Opportunities Builder. Sending the report is optional, and creating an AI-assisted Builder draft sends the included text to that service.
